Nigerian scam Letter we recieved number 3

Fred Taylor emailed me via RSVP dating site here in Australia last 19th of March, 2009. I saw his photos in his profile at RSVP and he was so good looking with black hair, with a mustache and mixed race. I have been a widow for seven years and feel it is about time to start finding someone that I could be with , now that I am 61 years old.
Fred emailed me asking me what are my likes and dislikes in a man. I emailed him back and gave him my answers to his questions and gave him my telephone number and he rang me twice in one day via his sattilite phone. Within a week ,Fred asked me to terminate my RSVP membership as he is getting seriously interested with me and had also asked me to connect to chat messenger Yahoo. Fred emailed me with the photos of two dogs, two is Cheddar's, ( St. Bernard Dog) , one of his photo and two others with Chloe (collie) in bed with him and the other one was in the kitchen. He told me they are his only family. He is from Cleveland ,Ohio, divorced, no kids, both parents are from UK and they both died when he was first year in college. He went to US to be with his uncle who has is antique businessman. He left his uncle when he was 30 years old, started his own antique business, got married when he was 43 years old and divorced at 46. He is now 50 years old and just about three months only here in Australia last March when he emailed me at RSVP. Fred would chat with me in the morning, emailed me love letters and love poems and we chat for three to four hours a day when I come home from work. Fred emailed me beautiful love letters same as the ones I saw in his emailes to other women in this wedsite. He told me age does not matter and he likes Asian women better. On the 31st of March,2009 Fred Taylor told me he is living for Italy because he won a big contract to supply his clients in US some rare antique's. While in Italy, Fred would email me with all the love poems,long love letters, he is missing me so much and dying to be with me. He proposed to me three times while in Italy. He told me when he comes back to Australia we are going to get married, buy a house here in Queensland and will spend the rest of his life with me and we will travel overseas a lot because of his business.. Fred exchanged photo while we are chatting at messenger very intimate and personal. The following morning, Fred emailed me another love letter and attachment of the personal photo that I saw at the messenger. I noticed that at the background of his body there was a common dog ( one that you will see from the third world country). I did not ask Fred why was there a dog at the background when he is supposed to be in a Hotel room in Italy.
On the 6th of April,2009, Fred told me he has to go to West Africa because most of the antique's that he needed are there.He told me he is busy organizing transferring money US$60,000.00 to the country of destination and also getting his ticket. On Tuesday, the 7th of April, Fred left for Lagos, Nigeria. He rang me from the airport and told me the plane was delayed and the flight is five hours from Italy to Nigeria. I did not hear from Fred whole day on Wednesday, the 8th of April. On EasterThursday, the 9th of April.
at 5:a.m., Fred rang me and told me he had a big problem that something had happened at the airport. Fred asked me to go to my computer so we can chat and he told me that his luggage was lost with all the documents, cash money of US$5,000.00 and some jewelries supposed to be for me as his present. Fred wants me to send him US$5,000.00 because he needs to pay his Hotel in 1 Clay Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria or else he will be evicted he said. I was so shock with his news. I do not know where
will I get that money as it is Holy Thursday and I am so busy at work being the last working day of Easter. Fred rang me a few times and told me he is not well and haven't eaten for days because he does not have money. He told me the police told him they are looking for his luggage and gave him an address in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria where I can send him money via Western Union. Fred told me he has to wait for the money that he transferred from Italy, (US$60,000.00 ) before he can come back to Australia. On the 14th of April, I sent Fred Taylor US$1,000.00. Fred told me his laptap and passport are being kept at his Hotel as a means of security till he can pay them in full. Fred Taylor told me he can no longer contact me.I told Fred Taylor to
contact the US Embassy in Lagos to ask for help. I emailed Fred when I sent the money (which according to Fred he has to go to the internet Cafe to read it) asking him three questions :Why he does not have an insurance considering he is a businessman?. Why he does not have a card, visa , mastercard or amex and why can't he not ask his bank to transfer or send him some money ? Fred did not reply to my email. I have not seen Fred Taylor and all the above has happened within the past six weeks only. I checked Fred's address in Sydney and it was a wrong address. He told me he is here on a two years working visa. I emailed the US Embassy in Lagos and they told me they haven't heard from Fred Taylor as they are willing to help any genuine US Citizen that needed help BUT, the Embassy warned me that if I haven't meet this person this could be a scam and never send any money or never contact the person again.I am asking myself, when Fred Taylor emailed me at RSVP was he in Australia or Nigeria ? When I checked with my telephone provided and asked the destinations of my calls they told me the roaming was in UK. Fred Taylor told me his telephone is registered in US because of his antique business in US. I emailed Fred Taylor after sending the money telling him I emailed the US Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria so they can help him but he did not reply. Instead, I received an email from Mrs. Mary Susan Derrick of Mrs.derrick@gmail.com asking me to stop contacting those people and also, for me to contact Mr. John Simpson of John331954@hotmail.com because there is money waiting for me. I read in one of the wedsite that this crooks are at Yahoo chat messenger looking for victims. Not my cup of tea , but I did check the Yahoo and chat and I am sure one of them was Fred Taylor. I chat with one and after a few chatting he dissapeard on me. The words that Fred use when we used to talk to each before is exactly the same as this man. With all those icons and LOL words which educated people do not normally use. Most of his poems and letters are also from Loving you.com

I console myself now that the US$1,000.00 dollars that I gave him is a very small price for my life. When Fred was asking for more money, I told him I do not have it and he told me if I was the one in need he will sell his HEAD for me because he loves me. I told
Fred Taylor that I am not the lady for him and he just hang up on me. I reported this matter to the police and they told me it is hard to prosecute these people because they are overseas. Also, if the money was given in the name of love it is like a gift and they can not prosecute them for receiving a gift. I was told that while he was overseas, he did not twist my arm. I feel and think as this dating scam is number six fastest growing crime it should be advertise more often like other crimes to warn people. Also, dating site must have responsibility to the public the quality of people they have in their site. As this is a kind of business to the establishment they should protect the public .
